The Evening Hunter — Fine Art

The Evening Hunter by Thomas Moran sets a hunter against a fading sky in the American west. The eye finds the figure first, then rests on the open ground below. Wide empty areas sit around the subject and leave room for the light.

The frame comes in a white finish that keeps the edge clear against the pale tones of this fine art print. The black line of the frame holds the picture steady on the wall.

On a kitchen wall near the window the cool air of the scene stays visible through the morning light. You see the hunter and the empty ground before you notice the frame edge.
