The House of Dr. Gachet in Auvers — Fine Art

A house stands on a patch of earth in The House of Dr. Gachet in Auvers. Fields and a path run across the open ground beneath a wide sky.

The mark of Paul Cézanne shows in the separate strokes that build the scene. You can see the slow way the paint holds the ground and sky together. The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel.

The matte surface keeps the note lines soft and the paint marks readable. The white ground stays plain so the separate strokes do their own work. A narrow passage beside the front door lets the print sit above a low shelf. From there the fields and house read as clear shapes, and the strokes stay visible.
