The House of Mimi Pinson in Montmartre — Fine Art

The House of Mimi Pinson in Montmartre shows a narrow street in Paris with white houses and a pale sky. The artist worked with thick paint laid in patches across the surface. You can see the brushwork in the building walls and the road.

This fine art print uses a white frame that gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The broad white areas stay clear and the soft grey tones sit close to the frame line.

On a bedroom wall near a low bed, the street scene reads as a row of quiet houses. From the doorway the white shapes stand out, and the pale ground fades softly at the edges.
