The Other Side, 2002- by Helen Frankenthaler shows a wide field of washed colour with a softer band crossing through it. Blue and green tones sit next to a lighter wash, so the shapes feel open rather than heavy. A dark edge along one side holds the whole field together.

The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte surface keeps the fine art lines soft and there is no shine under a lamp.
