About this work
The Point of Rossignol 1904 shows a rocky shore meeting the sea, painted with small dots and short strokes in cool blues and greens. Theo van Rysselberghe used the pointillist method to build the water and stone with separate touches of pigment.
The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. You can place it up straight without extra fittings.
It fits well on a bedroom wall where morning light moves across the bed. You notice the cool tones and the dotted texture when you sit near the window in the morning.
