The Propitious Garden of Plane Image Version One

The Propitious Garden of Plane Image Version One - 2005 places flat colour shapes on a quiet sheet. Brice Marden sets the tone with plane image bands set apart from the field. The shapes read as simple colour forms rather than busy marks.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps each plane image flat and the colour stays even under indoor light.

It fits well on a study wall beside a desk. From the doorway the flat colour shapes stay clear, and the narrow gaps between them show when you pass by.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
