The Secret Life of Plants for Robert Fludd 2014

The Secret Life of Plants for Robert Fludd 2014 opens on a dense field of painted marks, ash and straw laid over a heavy ground.

Anselm Kiefer builds the surface in thick layers, a method tied to postwar German painting. The fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel.

It arrives assembled when you choose the ready to hang option. A reading corner above a low desk shows the rough surface from a chair across the room.
