Threshold of Forest 1926

Threshold of Forest 1926 by Rene Magritte places a tree line at the edge of the page. The scene belongs to the surrealist painting practice where ordinary views meet odd shifts.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Soft greens and browns fill the image. A white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall.

The white wood keeps the greens and browns from feeling crowded. On the stairwell wall you see the tree line from below and the frame ends where the wall begins.
