Thunderstorm on the Oregon Trail — Fine Art

Thunderstorm on the Oregon Trail shows a stormy sky hanging over a wide trail. Dark clouds press down on open ground, with rain sweeping across the view. Childe Hassam painted the scene with quick strokes and cool tones. The work stays with the mood of a sudden storm.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The matte paper keeps the greys and blues soft and stops shine under a lamp.

A hallway wall near the front door works well for this scene. From that spot you see the broad sky first, then the rain lines lower down as you walk past.
