Tines 1943 shows cut out shapes arranged on a sheet, made from the metal and wire work Alexander Calder is known for. The forms stand apart, with open space between them.

Each shape reads as a flat cut form, drawn from the stabile and mobile practice he developed. The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, so the sheet stays flat and the edges hold clean.
