About this work
Torocondor 1959 uses the bold outlines and flat colour blocks typical of Alejandro Obregon late work. The painting keeps its shapes clear and direct. Bright planes sit next to darker ones without much blending. A wide black outline traces the main forms. The image feels planned rather than loose.
The fine art print uses a matte paper that holds the flat colour without shine. The frame in white gives the picture a clean edge on the wall. The white frame edge stays thin so the colour blocks read first.
In a kitchen, the blue and black shapes hold their own against white tiles. From the table you read the big outlines, near the sink you see the flat paint edges.
