Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square by Piet Mondrian turns a busy London square into a clear grid of black lines and flat colour blocks. Right angles divide the scene into rectangles of white, grey and black, with a few small colour patches.

The method follows the artist practice of reducing a place to straight lines and plain colour planes. This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw.

No separate frame is needed. The flat colour stays even under a lamp, so the grid reads clearly from a desk in a study. You see the lines first, then the small colour patches.
