Train Landscape — Fine Art

Train Landscape shows a long narrow wake of colour running across the page. The line bends and breaks like a track seen from a distance. Ellsworth Kelly often worked with one clear shape on a plain field. You see the band of colour and the empty ground beside it.

The fine art print sits on a wall where the light is steady and even. The frame finish can match the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall. The matte surface keeps the colour flat and the edges sharp.

It works on a hallway wall where people pass and glance down. You notice the long shape first, then the quiet space around it. The picture stays simple as you walk by.
