Tree at Tretire II — Fine Art

Thick dark marks pile up around a tree trunk against a pale ground. The body of the tree holds its shape through layers of paint. Tree at Tretire II shows a figure built from repeated scraping and reworking. The method is expressive painting, where each stroke stays visible on top of the last one.
