Turquoise

Turquoise shows a cool blue tone set against a darker field with clean outlined forms. The shapes sit in bands that keep the surface calm. Eyvind Earle often worked this way, using flat colour and clear edge marks. You see the blue hold its ground against the darker tones.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The paper stays matte, so the blue does not shine under a lamp and the darker bands stay soft. You can fill the ready to hang option and the frame arrives assembled.

It sits on the kitchen wall near the sink, where the morning light hits the blue band first. From the table you notice the clean outline marks and the flat colour bands before you see the smaller details.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
