Untitled — Fine Art

Untitled - 1945 shows a steady arrangement of soft painted bands laid across the sheet. The bands shift in tone from one edge to the other and the edges stay quiet. The picture keeps a calm order without a busy field.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame lets the tone changes read plainly. A black frame sets the bands apart from the wall.

In a kitchen passage where the morning light hits the wall, you see the soft bands before the small things above the bench. The edge of the frame keeps the painted field in its own space.
