Untitled - 1970 by Forrest Bess shows a small figure gathered in the lower part of the sheet. The paint sits in thin layers with a rough surface left where the brush pulled across. Small marks sit near the figure like signs left by hand.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. A light frame keeps the surface clear on a darker wall. A dark frame lets the thin paint sit up on a pale wall. The paper is matte so the small marks do not shine back at you.

It works on a long wall in a hallway with a single bulb above. From the end of the hall the small figure reads as a quiet shape. A person passing by notices the uneven paint edge before anything else.
