Untitled 1972 1

Untitled 1972 1 by Taro Yamamoto uses a single broad stroke drawn across the page.

The mark sits on a plain ground with little else in the picture. You can see the pressure change along the line and a soft edge where the brush lifted.

The fine art print arrives set in a frame with a back panel and hangs ready to hang when assembled. A hallway wall with a single bulb lets the grey tone read clearly and the line keeps its shape from the door.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
