Untitled - 1975 sits on a plain ground with marks laid across the sheet. The paint sits in uneven sweeps and a few thin lines move through the field. Manuel Rivera worked in this way, building the surface from paint and hand marks. No frame is included.

The fine art print goes straight onto a nail. A metal hanger is fitted to the back so you can press it straight onto a nail or screw. The print goes up without a separate frame. The matte face keeps the tones soft where the room light hits the marks.

In a narrow hall, the big shapes come into view from the bend in the corridor. By the coat hook you notice the small brush strokes and the way the tones settle. A quiet corner for a plain wall.
