Untitled 6 — Fine Art

The drawing Untitled 6 uses a plain tone field with a few dark forms grouped near the center. A soft grey sits against the open ground and the darker marks hold the eye. Louise Bourgeois often worked this way in her late printmaking practice.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. A white frame keeps the outer edge crisp against the grey field. A dark frame sets the dark forms apart from the wall.

In a bedroom the marks read first from the bed. You notice the darker shapes on the plain ground and the white frame edge under a low lamp.
