Untitled — Fine Art

Untitled - Abstract Expressionism by Robert Goodnough places broad painted bands over a flat ground. The paint sits in layered colour patches. A few drawn lines cut across the surface. This belongs to the abstract expressionist practice of the mid century period.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. On this image the dark wood finish holds the pale painted bands without pulling the eye away from the marks.

It works on a bedroom wall near the bed. From the pillow you see the painted shape and the drawn line. The dark edge sits quietly beside the headboard.
