About this work
Untitled by Manuel Rivera (1975)
A face materializes from a textured background in Manuel Rivera's Untitled. The artwork draws the viewer into a contemplative space, where the interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth and mystery.
Rivera's use of a muted palette, dominated by earthy tones, adds to the introspective mood. The rough, almost tactile surface invites closer inspection, revealing layers of complexity beneath the initial impression. The face, though abstract, conveys a profound sense of emotion.
This poster suits a study or quiet corner, where its subtle details can be appreciated in solitude.
