About this work
Untitled (l.213; Sf.240)
Splashes of color dance across a white expanse in Sam Francis' Untitled (l.213; Sf.240). This artwork is a celebration of spontaneity, where each drop and splash seems to have found its place in a moment of pure, creative abandon.
The composition is a symphony of blues, reds, and yellows. The colors, though scattered, create a sense of harmony. The white background serves as a canvas for these bursts of color, allowing them to stand out and draw the eye across the piece. The overall effect is one of controlled chaos, a snapshot of a dynamic process.
This poster brings energy to a quiet corner, a study, or a hallway where its colors can echo and converse with a room's palette.
