Untitled Purple Circle — Fine Art

Untitled Purple Circle shows a rounded mark of colour on a pale ground. A brush passes over the surface and leaves a soft edge where the paint thins out. The purple field stays near its own shape and the surrounding ground holds open space.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood and black. A black finish keeps a sharp border against the purple circle and the pale ground. The frame edge gives the picture a clear line on the wall without pulling focus from the brush pass.

On a bedroom wall near a low lamp the purple shape reads as a single round form. The light falls across the surface and the paint edge stays soft. You notice the round mark before the frame.
