Untitled Ruler Ulae 56

Untitled Ruler Ulae 56 shows a measured line running across the sheet with small numbers and divisions along it. The work uses a ruler as its main subject and keeps the layout plain. Jasper Johns often turns everyday tools into painted subjects, and this image follows that habit.

The piece is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used. The matte paper holds the grey tones without shine, so the numbers stay clear under ordinary light.

Hang it in a study on a side wall near the desk. From the chair you see the full length of the ruler line and the small divisions at the ends. The flat field behind the marks keeps the view quiet.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
