Untitled SF-297 L L274

Untitled SF-297 L L274 by Sam Francis rests on a white ground where open colour washes spread and leave gaps of bare paper. The paint sits in thin layers, and the edges of each wash stay uneven. You notice the way the paper shows through the paint in places.

The frame comes in four finishes: white, wood, dark wood and black. A black frame edge sits here against the light ground and keeps the image clear on the wall. The frame gives the picture a clear edge, and the fine art print stays flat behind it.

On a kitchen wall near a sink, the broad colour shapes read from the room, and the thin washes show the paper grain under the light.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
