Untitled SF-56-003

Untitled SF-56-003 shows open colour washes spread across a white field. The paint sits in broad areas with thin gaps between them. Sam Francis built the look with thin layers of paint. The surface reads as a flat white ground with soft colour breaks.

This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the wash edges from looking sharp. The frame holds the image flat and the back panel covers the rear. You get a ready to hang piece when the assembled option is chosen.

It fits on a bedroom wall above the bed. From the foot of the bed you notice the wide white space first. Up close the paint stops stay soft and even.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
