Untitled SF74-189

Untitled SF74-189 uses open colour washes spread over a pale ground. The paint lays in thin layers that leave space around the shapes. Sam Francis worked this way in his later years, with watercolour habits carried into the print. The colours stay separate and the white field holds them.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed.

It suits a hallway wall where you pass it twice a day. From the far end you see the pale ground and the colour shapes. Up close the thin edges of paint show. On a warm afternoon the wall picks up the soft tones.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
