Untitled Suite Blancs — Fine Art

Untitled Suite Blancs - 1973 shows a pale field with soft horizontal runs of white and grey pigment. The paint sits in thin layers and some places look slightly thicker than others.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Simon Hantai made these works by folding or pressing the canvas before the paint dried. The image stays quiet and does not split into separate parts. A metal hanger is already fitted to the back, so you can put it on a nail without a frame.

The matte finish keeps the white tones even when a lamp shines on it. A narrow corridor wall works well here. You see the pale stretch from the bend in the hall, and the small uneven spots show when you pass by.
