Utitled — Fine Art

Utitled places curved colour bands against a plain field so the eye moves from one edge to the next with a steady pull. Sonia Delaunay keeps the paper open in the middle and lets the arcs hold most of the weight. The empty centre gives the painted lines room to turn.

We hang this fine art print with a metal hanger already fitted to the back so it goes straight onto a nail or screw. The matte paper keeps the painted bands soft without a shine, which works well for the curved shapes in Utitled.

On a narrow hallway wall with pale paint the arc bands read from the front door before you step in. You notice the rounded edges first, then the quiet paper around them as you pass.
