Vase of Flowers — Fine Art

Vase of Flowers by Odilon Redon places sprigs and petals against a muted ground. The eye lands on the flower heads first. A few leaves reach out to the side. Empty areas around the blooms hold the picture still. The artist often worked in pastel and charcoal. He showed plant forms the way he saw them, with loose edges and soft tones.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. A metal hanger is fitted to the back and goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. The surface is matte, so the flower colours stay flat under a lamp and the light does not bounce.

It fits above a desk in a work room. From the chair you see the flower heads clearly. The empty space beside them gives the page room to breathe.
