Vase of Flowers Pansies — Fine Art

Vase of Flowers Pansies shows a small bunch of pansies packed into a vase. The blooms sit near the top of the page while the stems lean down into the neck. Empty space below lets the flowers hold the weight. Odilon Redon often used pastel and charcoal for plant studies like this one.

The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives this picture a clean edge on the wall, so the flower cluster reads as a single group rather than a loose sketch.

Hang it in a narrow dining room where a low lamp throws warm light on the blooms. From the doorway you see the dark vase outline first, then the small petal faces as you step closer.
