Victory Boogie Woogie — Fine Art

Victory Boogie Woogie by Piet Mondrian uses small blocks of colour set in a loose grid. Red and blue squares sit beside yellow and grey marks.

The blocks move across the surface in a rhythm that feels like music. At a distance the blocks read as bands of colour. Up close each block is a separate cut of paint on a white ground.
