View from the Dunes with Beach and Piers — Fine Art

View from the Dunes with Beach and Piers shows sand, sea and piers drawn with broad painted shapes. Piet Mondrian built the scene from a few plain colour areas.

From the foot of the stairs you see the horizon first, then the line where water meets sky. The fine art print keeps those flat colour shapes clear, since the paper is matte and the light does not glare on the beach.

A metal hanger sits on the back, ready to hang the fine art print on a nail. It fits a kitchen wall above the counter, where you pass it twice a day and notice the pier line each time.
