View of Saint-Sauves — Fine Art

View of Saint-Sauves shows a river bend and a cluster of houses set behind a line of trees. The painted strokes sit close together in warm greens and earth tones. Armand Guillaumin painted this view in the postimpressionist style, where colour carries the feeling of the place.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The print keeps the paint layers soft and the paper matte so the greens stay steady under a lamp.

It works on a kitchen wall near the bread bin. You see the tree line first and the river bend second while you wait for toast.
