Welcome to the Water Planet

Welcome to the Water Planet by James Rosenquist shows broad colour bands across the picture, with cooler blue tones sitting against warmer yellow marks. The painted surface reads as a few flat planes of colour placed next to each other.

The fine art frame finishes in white, wood, dark wood or black, and each one gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the cool blue tones open, while a wood finish settles the warmer marks.

It works above a desk in a study, where the bright blue bands hold the eye from a few feet away and the small coloured marks show from closer in.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
