Window Still Life 1915 — Fine Art

Window Still Life 1915 shows a quiet arrangement near a window. The paint sits in broad patches on the sheet. Brushwork moves in short strokes that press the pigment into the ground. Vanessa Bell works with simple forms and a calm palette here.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The sheet arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame is needed. That keeps the painted edge visible and lets the window scene read plainly on the wall.

In a kitchen, the print sits above a sink where morning light falls across it. From the doorway you see the broad painted patches first, then the individual strokes as you pass by.
