Winter woods

A quiet wood of trees stands in snow under a wide sky. The Winter woods print uses the clear outline drawing and flat colour bands Eyvind Earle used for his mid century illustration. The lines stay hard and the colours sit in clean bands.

The fine art print sits on a matte paper with no shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the white patches read clearly.

It hangs above a long sofa where the door gives a full view of the tree trunks. From across the room the dark outlines hold the space.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
