Woodland Waterfall 1916

Woodland Waterfall 1916 shows a wooded stream with water falling over rocks into a dark pool. The scene uses quick green and brown marks and a low sky that Thomson often painted for early Canadian landscape work.

You can see the water line and the tree trunks side by side. The page is made for a fine art print that comes ready to hang with a metal hanger on the back, so it goes straight onto a nail or screw without needing a frame to buy.

Put it on the wall inside a mudroom where you pass through with boots on. From that doorway you notice the falling water before the trees.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
