Yellow over Dark Blue

A yellow rectangle rests above a dark blue rectangle. The edge between them is clean and sharp. The yellow block sits near the top and the blue block holds the lower half.

A quiet line marks the border. Ellsworth Kelly built this from flat colour areas. The fine art print follows the same plan and the frame finish can follow the room.

A light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. Hang this fine art print on a blank wall above a sofa. From across the room the two blocks read as one shape. Step closer and the sharp edge between the yellow and blue becomes clear.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
