About this work
Remote Sensing Per I II - 1979 shows a structured grid of numbers and colour blocks arranged in quiet bands.
Alfred Jensen built much of his work from painted number squares and hard edge colour rows, and this print carries that same step by step pattern on a plain ground.
The metal hanger on the back of this fine art print fits straight onto a nail or screw, so the grid goes up on the wall without a frame to buy. Over a desk in a study, the numbered rows line up with the bookshelf and the small pencil marks at the edges become part of the daily work.
