Acrilico K

Acrilico K - 1979 by Bice Lazzari places a single painted shape in the middle of the sheet. The work uses acrylic paint laid in broad strokes. The artist often worked with colour blocks and simple drawn lines in her abstract practice. You can see the soft edge where the paint was brushed out.

This object is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the painted colours from shining under a lamp. The frame and back panel come ready to hang on the wall.

In a bedroom, the shape reads from the foot of the bed as a calm block of colour. Near the bedside the same painted edge shows a soft change in tone.
