Untitled

Untitled - 1938 by Bice Lazzari shows a few marks on a quiet ground. The drawing keeps its space open, with leaves of ink that pause before the edge.

The work belongs to the mid twentieth century abstract tradition. This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel.

The surface is matte, so the grey tones stay even and the light does not catch on the sheet. Hang it in a hallway where the door opens into a narrow passage. The shapes read simply from the bend in the corridor.
