Two flat colour fields sit side by side in Blau auf Grün - 1965. A blue section meets a green section with a hard line between them.

The painter worked in clear blocks of tone during the post war period. The print uses a fine art paper set in a frame with a back panel.

A matte surface keeps the blue and green from shining under a ceiling light. You can see the print on a kitchen wall beside a plain cabinet. From that spot the blue reads cool and the green reads steady.
