White House on a Hill by Chaim Soutine — Fine Art

A white house sits on a green hill in this painting by Chaim Soutine. The paint is worked in short, heavy strokes with the same rough mark making he used for village scenes. The shapes lean a little and the sky stays open.

This fine art print comes with a white frame. The white edge keeps the painted shapes clear against the wall and the frame finishes the picture with a clean line.

Hang it in a dining room where the light stays soft. From the table you notice the white roof and the green ground, and the frame edge holds the whole view in place.
