Striped Picture — Fine Art

Striped Picture - 1965 by Charlotte Posenenske shows bands of tone laid across the sheet. The lines run parallel and each one reads as a separate block of shade.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The work belongs to the artist approach of simple repeated forms and plain colour decisions. A metal hanger sits on the back so the sheet goes straight onto a nail or screw.

You do not need a separate frame. The flat bands suit a kitchen wall where morning light reaches them from the side.
