Chris Foss by Chris Foss — Fine Art

Chris Foss sets bright ships against blue skies and orange ground. The big shapes sit next to each other with hard edges. Red hulls and yellow bands push forward on the page. Chris Foss uses flat colour to build a busy painted world.

A fine art print on paper keeps the colour flat and sharp. The light frame sits on a pale wall so the red stays clear. You see the hard lines without a shine under the lamp.

This hangs on the landing wall over the mirror at shoulder height. From the bottom of the stair you notice the yellow band first, then the blue behind it.
