Family Dreaming — Fine Art

Family Dreaming - Native Art by Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri shows country tracks and camp sites drawn with dots and joined line marks. The picture moves across the page in earth tones and white dots. The work follows the desert storytelling motif found in western desert painting.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The matte paper finish keeps the ochre tones soft and stops shine under a lamp. A light frame on a dark wall lets the central path stand out. You see the small white dots clearly at arm length.

On a hallway wall near the stairs the broad coloured bands lead the eye upward. From the landing you notice the joined line marks and the dots that group into larger shapes.
