Aspens, 1991- by Helen Frankenthaler shows vertical tree shapes across the sheet. The thin colour sits in open washes, with soft edges where one colour meets the next.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. Up close the paint soaks into the surface, while from across the room the trees read as pale upright forms. The white frame gives the image a clean edge on the wall.

The white finish keeps the pale greens and browns quiet near the edge. You notice the thin lines between the trees when you stand a few steps back.
