August Still Life

August Still Life - 1952 shows a quiet arrangement of objects on a bare ground. The forms stand apart with soft edges and a calm mood. This is a fine art print of a Morris Graves painting.

The white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. That clean line keeps the soft forms from spreading into the room.

It works on a bedroom wall across from the bed. From the pillow you see the big shapes, and the frame stays steady in the corner light.
